Due to sort of city planning which can be the credit on those local governors who take Shanghai as the stepping stone upwards on their "career", the tranditional "Stone Gate" block where I were born and lived almost all my life so far will be demolished for unknown future use!!!
I just took some photos for feeding future nostalgic mood here~~~
Actually, there were some famous figures once lived and thrived in my block!!!
Above three photos are where the respected Zhu XiaoNan who was a TCM doctor specialised in Gynecology lived.
Some interior structure of main living room on the second floor of the Stone Gate style building.
At the beginning, the whole building is for one household with big family and their servants. Later, due to warfares, the owner went abroad. And the building was confiscated and it was dissected and rent to different residents. There was a bus ticket factory on the third floor.
